It's been a fair few months since I've been on here.
Well, what's new? My parents and I have moved into a new house that's more in town. Our old house that we've lived in for 22 years was out in the middle of nowhere with no cell phone signal, no internet, and it was a 45 minute drive to the nearest grocery store. Our new home is a tad smaller, but everyone has their own bedroom, and it's closer to everything that we need. We still don't have internet yet, so I've been mooching off from my grandmother's next door, and visiting my old community college once in a while if I need to work on stuff.
Another thing is that two and a half months ago, my grandfather passed away following complications of a hernia surgery. It was a devastating time for me and my mom because he helped us out big time. We had his funeral in Idaho (where he was born and raised) two weeks ago, and we're having a California memorial service this weekend.
Also, good news: I'm returning to the convention world, starting this upcoming January at SacAnime Winter 2017! I'm really excited. It's been almost two years since my last convention, and I feel better enough to return...As long as I don't go alone, of course. ^_^ I'm planning on bringing Lady Jack, Mary Poppins, and Christine Daae to that convention, but that might change.
One more thing: I'm in a new romantic relationship now. Yup, That Phantom and I are just friends now after 3.5 years of being together. It was for the best, and there was no saltiness between the two of us. In fact, things have been better since he and I decided to be friends.
My new significant other is a wonderful human being. He is sweet, loyal, and makes me extremely content. He may live about 30 miles away, but that's closer compared to the 60+ miles with the last relationship. So, I get to see him once or twice a week, and every moment we spend together is beautiful and full of love. <3 He will be joining me at SacAnime this January as my Phantom and Bert (from "Mary Poppins").
That's an update! See you in another few months.
